Every commercial real estate deal involves its own unique set of hurdles and cast of characters. The opportunity to connect with so many disparate personalities, to creatively build solutions to overcome those ever-evolving challenges, is what drives my passion for the business. During my 15+ years in the industry, I have aimed to approach business with an upbeat personality, an attention to detail and a commitment to responsiveness and respectfulness. Given my recent experience with CRE/tech firms, I am particularly intrigued by the evolution of new technology platforms and how they can be leveraged by CRE firms to improve how their teams function and execute their business plans.
My efforts at Topside will largely focus on sourcing strategic investment/acquisition opportunities for clients, capital partner/investor relations activities and equity raising assignments. Given my extensive transaction experience, I will also work on select entitlement, brokerage, loan disposition and asset management engagements.
My CRE experience includes acquisitions, development, equity raising, brokerage and asset management, while having held positions with CrowdStreet, Ten-X Commercial (formerly Auction.com Commercial) and CMD Real Estate. I executed on a broad range of transactions, including industrial, office, multifamily, retail, land and CRE notes. During my career I have been involved in over 350 transactions across 30+ states in excess of $1 billion.
I hold a BA in International Relations/Business from the University of Southern California and JD/MBA degrees from Pepperdine University and am an active member of NAIOP SoCal where I founded the mentorship program.
