Chris Martin is a seasoned real estate finance professional with over 30 years of experience raising debt and equity capital for real estate development, redevelopment, acquisitions, portfolio financing and asset management.  

Chris started selling residential mortgages over 30 years ago for Wells Fargo Bank and has been truly fortunate to work with some of the best people and smartest minds in the business along the way.  Spending most of his time in the finance and treasury aspects of the business he has closed over $3B in loans ranging from construction financing, portfolio loans, asset reposition, unsecured revolvers, long term financing, bond financing, and private & public equity.   

In addition to debt and equity, Chris has been very involved with investor relations, joint ventures, 1031 exchanges, and risk management for both private and public companies.  

After 10 years at Wells Fargo Bank in both commercial real estate workouts and lending, Chris then spent almost 16 years at LNR Partners in Newport Beach overseeing the group’s national treasury and finance platform.  For the prior 7 years, Chris worked at TRI Pointe Group in Irvine as Vice President of Finance and Head of Investor Relations.

Born and raised in San Diego County and having lived in LA and San Francisco along the way before settling in Orange County, Mr. Martin currently resides in Aliso Viejo with his wife and 3 kids.  Very involved in sports and outdoors, Chris is an avid runner and mountain biker and enjoys winter sports and summer activities on Lake Arrowhead as well as the Colorado River.
